Golden Globe has a unique story behind the red carpet. This is where news and gossips meet into something more interesting and the procession is worth to follow. Sandra Bullock won the dramatic-acting for her act on “The Blind Side” – a movie about the football tale. The veteran of country music, Jeff Bridges also won the same with Bullock and he got the standing ovation from the crowd for his dedication to the music and flicks.
Robert Downey Jr. after long critics followed his acting in “Sherlock Holmes” got the musical and comedy prizes along with Meryl Streep for “Julie & Julia”. As we all know that the crime romp detective movie “Sherlock Holmes” got “usual” reviews from the media, but it does not mean that it is worst after all. There is another different story at the Globe. As it is held in earthquake relief, stars and celebrities wore ribbons as a sign of support to the victims, a true sympathy to the tragedy of humanity.
The Golden Globe also shared the place for animated movies. Disney-Pixar animation movie “Up” won four honors for the animated movies. Since 2006, the Golden Globe introduced this category and soon took the Disney’s prominent animation such as “Wall-E”, “Cars”, and “Ratatouille”.
