The earthquake-devastated Haiti will make anyone turn to it for a while. The 7-on-Richter-scale earthquake really shocked us and made us want to do something just like everyone including the celebrities and public figure in the Golden Globe.
Celebrities will donate their “properties” to the earthquake victims. As reported from the Golden Globe Award, celebrity like Olivia Wilde will donate her Gucci gown worn at the Red Carpet on Sunday for auction charity to raise fund. She also urged other people to do just the same to help the victims. The black and silver gown will go to the auction bloc and 100% all the donations will go to the Haitian victims Foundation. Actress who plays in “House M.D.” said that she also donates her shiny sparkling Judith Leiber purse you saw in the Globes for auction to the Artists for Peace and Justice Organization.
Mickey Rourke, a veteran actor, would also do the same as Wilde. He just planned to donate his boots instead of his David August suit he worn. Well, no matter what he would donate it seems that does not matter at all. The same action also did by the Ocean’s actor, George Clooney, who has been so busy for Hope for Haiti fundraising this week where he ought to recruit some people to help Haitians.
