The stories of celebrities always take our breath when they show us the entertaining act and glamour. However, it might also disturb our conscience especially when tragedy meets their life. We are wondering, is this the reflection of the entire society of America today. No matter what our opinion will be, again we are shown a sad fact on the news of Corey Haim’s passing away.
He was the teen star during the 1980’s as he acts in The Lost Boys and also License to drive. When he died in Saint Joseph Medical Center, he was 38 years old. The Los Angeles police department confirms the death caused by overdose. Though the coroner’s said that they had found some prescription, they did not find illegal drugs in his apartment.
While it seems that there has been no foul play I this accident, we must admit that he had been battling the illegal habit of consuming drugs for years. When he was promoting the reality TV series with the “other” Corey from the lost boys, he said that he already clean and sober from such habits. Yes, it is an irony. Corey’s first fame was in the movie entitled Lucas in the 1986 as he was also acting with Winona Ryder and Charlie sheen.
