Alice In Wonderland has been released some days ago and apparently this movie reaches success. On Sunday, this new movie was able to reach $ 430 million at box office around the globe. This movie is directed by Tim Burton and now it still leads the box office on the second weekend.
On the first days after the release, this 3D movie successfully gained $ 138 million. Movie lovers in US and Canada contributed $ 62 million and this is smaller amount than the opening weekend. Alice totally gets $ 221 million at 48 markets. After this movie, the second position is placed by Green Zone. In North America, this movie gets $ 14.5 million and this is a poor sale. The president of the movie distributor said that he had hoped the movie gets better position. The achievement is disappointing for the distributor and they want to be better at the box office. Green Zone is directed by Paul Greengrass and spent $ 100 million for the making process.
After Green Zone, She’s Out Of My League places the third position. This was released by Paramount Picture and now the movie gains $ 9.6 million. Number 4 is placed by Remember Me; a movie that was released by Summit Entertainment.
