Like other city square within the famous cities around the world, the former office of New York Time has been a symbol and landmark in the New York City. It is populated with many digital advertisements and animated pictures, which contribute the popularity of this site, both to the local citizens, Manhattan Business communities and to the visitors. Therefore, coming to New York City is not perfect without visiting Time Square.
Now, Time Square has been the center of Broadway Theater, where some of the most popular productions had been produced. Many hotels, featuring the cultural characteristic, music, nightlife, movies and many interesting attraction, have populated the adjacent areas. However, at busy hours, this area is often crowded with traffic jam; so many people are forced to walk along the streets.
The crowd around the major intersection in the New York City is even higher on the celebration of New Year’s Eve, in which more than one million people come to Time Square. The crowd usually begins on the last day of December every year, and the peak will be on the first January of the next year. New Year celebration is the event where all New York Citizens from all ethic groups and socioeconomic status comes together to celebrate the coming of New Year.
