Lawrence Julius Taylor, or “L.T”, has been charged to have raped a 16-year old teenager at Holiday Inn in Rockland County a month ago. Lawrence Taylor (51) had performed an oral sex and sexual intercourse with the teenager and paid her $300. The teenage girl herself was reported as a runaway – 15 when she was missing.
The girl told the investigators that she was physically and verbally abused during the action. She said that she was driven to the hotel by Rasheed Davis, a pimp. Knowing that she was in trouble, she sent a text message to her uncle who finally called the NYPD and reported the location where Lawrence Taylor was staying. Rasheed Davis is now arrested by the New York City Department when he returned to Bronx with the girl while Lawrence Taylor himself was arrested since May 6.
Though it is said that the teenage girl was hired as a prostitute, it was unfortunately against the sexual abuse degree as he is indicated to be on the third-degree rape and the third-degree sexual act. According to New York law, having sex with a person younger than 17 is considered as a third-degree rape.
Now Lawrence Taylor is charged on sexual abuse, criminal sexual act and endangering a child’s welfare and patronizing a prostitute. He is due in court July 13.
