Many recent reports from different sources mentioned that CJ Watson had just joined the Chicago Bulls to fill the point guard position in the team. The rumors said that the deal would be a sign-and-trade deal with the Golden State Warriors, in which the Bulls would send a second round pick in NBA draft next year. Watson signed his $7 million deal for 2 years with the Warriors, who later traded him to the Chicago Bulls.

Michael Gibbons who reported in bleacherreport.com said that the addition of CJ Watson, a 26-year-old player, the Chicago Bulls then added another young player to some of their young rosters. Currently, the Chicago Bulls does not really have a player under a contract that is more than the age of 30.

CJ Watson, a 6-foot-2-inch point guard who also went undrafted out of his college, spent three seasons with the Golden State Warriors. In fact, Watson showed some improvements in each season, in which it averages 10.3 points, 1.6 steals, 2.8 assists and 2.6 rebounds while he played 27.5 minutes a night in his last season. Though the deal is not yet gone through at the stage, the indications show that the deal is really happening. It is reportedly said that Watson will be Derrick Rose’s backup.
