Emmy Award winner for stage musical “Gleeâ€, Jane Lynch, presents on Ellen DeGeneres talk show on September 16, 2010 talking about her sexual preferences. Lynch, as well as DeGeneres, is a lesbian who has come out for several years. Jane Lynch is now living with her wife Dr. Lara Embry in a private wedding in June 2010 in Massachusetts.
Jane Lynch is famous for her role as Sylvester, a cheerleader coach on the musical “Gleeâ€. Commenting about her sexual preferences, Lynch admitted she was rather introverted in her teenage years. Being herself, it is a lot easier to state her sexual preference to the public. Lynch compares herself to megastar Julia Roberts that if she were Roberts, it would have been harder to come out since Lynch and Roberts have very different images in front of the public.
Ellen DeGeneres, the host for the talk show Lynch attended, is mentioned as Lynch’s inspiration to confess her sexuality. The fact that Ellen DeGeneres came out in 1997 and retained her success in entertainment industry encouraged Lynch to do the same thing. Jane Lynch’s image is immortalized at Madame Tussaud’s on August 2010. Her wax image is portrayed as Sylvester wearing complete tracksuit and bullhorn.
