At first, Chris Sarandon was rumored to take the roles of Peter Vincent, the vampire killer, but some other reports denied it, since the role of Peter Vincent has been taken by David Tennant. Very few details are available on the participation of Sarandon in the upcoming new version of Fright Night, let alone the confirmation on what role Sarandon will play in the movie. However, many people are certain that he will be one of the cast members.
